The right choice depends on the condition of the property and the tasks you want completed, rather than just the number of rooms.

What does standard house cleaning cover?
Regular domestic cleaning is suitable for routine upkeep. Typical agreed tasks include dusting accessible surfaces, wiping kitchen worktops, cleaning bathroom fittings, vacuuming and mopping suitable floors. Weekly or fortnightly visits can help you keep on top of these tasks.
A standard clean works best when surfaces are accessible and there is no substantial grease, limescale or dirt build-up. If this is your first cleaning visit, tell us about the current condition so we can recommend an appropriate starting point.
What is different about a deep clean?
Deep house cleaning allows for more detailed work on agreed areas, such as accessible skirting boards, kitchen grease and bathroom build-up. It can suit a one-off reset, a home that has not had a thorough clean for some time, or specific rooms that need extra attention.

Are ovens, carpets and windows included?
Ask for oven cleaning, carpet and rug cleaning, or window cleaning separately so we can confirm the equipment, access, scope and price. Internal cupboards, appliance interiors and work behind heavy furniture should also be discussed before the visit.
Please mention delicate surfaces, existing damage and any areas needing specialist treatment. Do not assume that mould treatment, hazardous waste or high-level access is included in a domestic cleaning quote.
Is a deep clean the same as end-of-tenancy cleaning?
No. End-of-tenancy cleaning focuses on preparing a property for handover, usually with an empty-property checklist agreed with the tenant, landlord or letting agent. Send us the relevant checklist and explain whether the property will be empty. Cleaning alone cannot guarantee the return of a tenancy deposit.
If you are moving into your own home, our move-in and move-out cleaning service can be planned around access and the moving date. Renovation dust may instead need after-builders cleaning.
How much will my clean cost, and how long will it take?
We provide a tailored quote based on property size, condition, agreed tasks and access. A deep clean generally needs more work than routine upkeep, but we cannot give an accurate duration from a service name alone. Describe your priorities and any deadline so we can agree a realistic scope and arrival time.
What should I include in my request?
- Your postcode and property type.
- The number of bedrooms and bathrooms, plus other spaces to clean.
- Whether you need standard or deep cleaning and whether the condition is well maintained, moderate or heavily built up.
- Any separate tasks such as ovens, carpets or windows.
- Your preferred date, access arrangements and contact method.
